Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Docu Stop ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your information when you use the Docu Stop mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and basic profile details you provide, handled through Firebase Authentication.
  • Documents and files. Files you choose to process (PDFs, images, Office documents) are transmitted to our processing servers solely to perform the tool you requested.
  • Usage data. We may collect anonymous, aggregated information about which tools are used and app performance (crashes, errors) to improve the Service.
  • Device information. Basic device data such as OS version and app version, used for compatibility and troubleshooting.
  • Advertising identifiers. The mobile app displays ads served by Google AdMob, which may collect your device's advertising identifier and related signals to serve and measure ads (see Section 5).
  • Purchase information. When you buy credit packs, the purchase is processed by Apple's App Store; we and our purchase-processing partner RevenueCat receive transaction details (product purchased, price, transaction identifiers) to deliver your credits. We never see or store your payment card details.
  • Credit balance. Your credit balance and a record of credit transactions are stored with your account so credits follow you across devices.

2. How We Use Your Files

  • Your files are used only to perform the operation you explicitly request (for example, compressing or converting a document).
  • To perform these operations, files are transmitted to our third-party document-processing providers, iLovePDF and CloudConvert (see Section 4). They access files solely to run the requested operation.
  • Files are transferred over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.
  • Processed files are automatically deleted from processing servers — typically within a few hours and in all cases within a maximum of 48 hours.
  • Neither we nor our processing providers read, analyze for advertising, sell or share the contents of your documents.

3. How We Use Other Information

  • To provide, operate and maintain the Service.
  • To authenticate you and secure your account.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To understand usage patterns and improve features and reliability.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on trusted third-party providers to function:

  • Google Firebase — authentication, database and app infrastructure (Firebase privacy).
  • iLovePDF — performs most PDF and image operations (compress, merge, convert, OCR and more) and powers the e-signature feature. Files are processed only for the requested operation and deleted within a maximum of 48 hours (iLovePDF privacy).
  • CloudConvert — performs certain document format conversions, such as PDF to Word (CloudConvert privacy).
  • Google AdMob — serves ads in the mobile app (Google privacy).
  • RevenueCat — processes and validates in-app purchases of credit packs on our behalf (RevenueCat privacy).
  • Vercel — hosts the website and the backend that processes your requests (Vercel privacy).

These providers process data only as needed to deliver the Service and are bound by their own privacy commitments. Docu Stop is an independent product and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any of these providers.

5. Advertising

Website ads. The website may display ads served by Google AdSense. These ads may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. European visitors can manage consent options via the cookie consent prompt displayed on first visit.

Mobile app ads. The mobile app shows ads served by Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads that you can choose to watch in exchange for free conversion credits. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising identifier, IP address, coarse location and app-interaction signals to serve and measure ads, which may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your region and consent choices. Where required by law (for example in the EEA/UK), we ask for your consent before serving personalized ads, and you can change your choice at any time in the app. You can also limit ad personalization in your device settings (Android: "Delete advertising ID"; iOS: "Allow Apps to Request to Track").

6. E-Signature Data

When you use the e-signature feature, the names and email addresses of signers you add are shared with our signature-processing partner, iLovePDF, solely to deliver and track the signature request. Audit-trail records are retained as required to establish the validity of signed documents.

7. Data Retention

  • Processed files: deleted automatically from processing servers, typically within a few hours and within a maximum of 48 hours.
  • Account data, credit balance and credit-transaction records: retained while your account is active.
  • Purchase records: retained as long as needed for accounting, fraud prevention and legal compliance.
  • You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 9).

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted transport (TLS), authenticated access and optional file encryption for outputs. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hamadqudus@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. International Transfers

Your files may be processed in data centers located in different regions (for example, the EU or US). Where the app offers a processing-region option, files are processed in the region you select.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
